Public Transportation

The very closest train station is Liseberg Station (train). It is two tram stops away from The Gothenburg Hostel and the most convenient and obvious choice of guests of The Gothenburg B&B.

The train station Liseberg Station is one stop before Gothenburg Central Station, Göteborgs centralstation, traveling northbound, or one stop after Gothenurg Central Station, going south. (Choosing this train station arrival instead, will save you at least 15 minutes, going by tram, not to mention avoiding all the hassle.)

Then you can catch the tram, right outside the entrance of Liseberg Station, at the tram stop Liseberg.

• Go one stop to the next tram stop Korsvägen.
• Change trams to number 2 (yellow line) or tram number 4 (green line) towards Mölndal.
• Get off after one stop, at the tram stop Liseberg Södra.
• Follow the directions below. . . .

From Gothenburg Central Station, you can catch tram number 2 (yellow line) or tram number 4 (green line) towards Mölndal for 10 minutes.

• You get off the tram at the  tram stop called Liseberg Södra.
• From there, you will pass a grocery store called Coop, on your right hand side.
• Walk pass this store and walk about 200 meters further and you will find us, on your right hand side. 

Tickets: You can buy your ticket, on the tram with a debit card or you can dowload the Gothenburg Public Transport app: Västtrafik To Go. which is invaluable for getting around, in and around Gothenburg.

Landvetter Airport

From the airport you catch the airport bus (Flygbussen) to Korsvägen, this takes about 25 minutes.

Please note, the airport busses do not accept cash! Only credit or debit card, Paypal or Swish. You can also prepay, on their website Flygbussarna.

Get off at Korsvägen. You can either walk to the hostel, which takes about 10 minutes.

• You walk past Universeum and you will find us, on your right hand side.

You can also take tram number 2 (yellow line) or tram number 4 (green line), towards Mölndal.

• Go one stop by tram, and get off at the stop called Liseberg Södra.
• From there, you will pass a grocery store called Coop, on your right. 
• Walk past this store and walk about 200 meters further and you will find us, on your right hand side.

Car

The hostel is located close to European route E6 and Korsvägen, opposite the southern entrance of Liseberg.

• Southbound: E6/E20, exit 70 KALLEBÄCK Liseberg
• From the inland (going west): Highway (riksväg) 40, exit 70 KALLEBÄCKMOTET Liseberg

We offer parking/garage, subject to availability, to a cost of 120 SEK/day.
Parking/garage cannot be pre-booked, please contact or talk to the reception on the day of your arrival.
Also, you can easily park on the street right in front of the hostel, along the Mölndalsvägen street and pay in the parking machine or in the app.
